we had the honor of presenting the DigiMedFor project and our first-year results at the 3rd edition of the SUMMER SCHOOL ‘Design and Construction of Wooden Structures’. This event, organized by ‘GREEN HOME Polo di Innovazione per l’edilizia sostenibile’, focused on wood buildings and the use of local wood resources in both ancient and modern constructions.
During Session 3, dedicated to the forest-wood supply chain, we showcased our project objectives and tools for forest digitalization and traceability of local wood resources. Our presentation highlighted:
- Digital tools for inventorying local forest resources.
- Wood qualification tools for assessing wood quality.
- The availability of wood resources for sustainable building projects.
The audience was particularly interested in our approach to using digital innovations to enhance the forest-wood supply chain and support sustainable construction.
For those who missed it, we are pleased to share the full presentation and some highlights from the event. You can view the agenda and photos from the meeting on our website.
Thank you to ‘GREEN HOME Polo di Innovazione per l’edilizia sostenibile’ for the invitation and to all the participants for their engagement and insightful discussions.
