DigiMedFor’s Robotic Dog and Drone Test Gains National Attention!

We are excited to share that our groundbreaking testing of the robotic dog and drone in Limnia Forest has attracted national media attention. The DigiMedFor project, aimed at transforming Mediterranean Forestry through digital innovation, was featured in an interview by ERT.

Mr. Ilias Tsagkalidis, Director of Technical Services, and Mrs. Io Chatzivaryti, the scientific associate of the Municipality for EU projects, effectively presented the scope of DigiMedFor, showcasing the project’s use of advanced technologies such as geospatial analysis, artificial intelligence, and robotics. The robotic dog, equipped with dozens of sensors, works alongside a drone to navigate and collect data in challenging terrains, all in service of protecting and preserving Mediterranean forests.

This significant media attention highlights the impact and importance of our project. We invite you to watch the interview and see our technology in action.
