On 5 June 2025, the DigiMedFor consortium gathered in Kavala, Greece, for our Annual Meeting — a full day of collaboration, reflection, and planning for the future of Mediterranean forestry.
The meeting brought together project partners from across Europe and the Mediterranean to share insights, track progress, and align on the next steps in developing a more sustainable, digitally enabled forest-wood supply chain. The agenda included:
Updates from all Work Packages and pilot sites
Strategic discussions on replication site planning
Knowledge platform development
Future workforce and skills needs in forestry
Communication, dissemination, and exploitation planning
After a productive day of presentations and discussions at Megali Leschi, the group enjoyed a guided tour of Kavala’s historic Old City, followed by a working dinner — offering further opportunity for informal exchange and partnership building.
